GRINNELL WEATHER

The AHS Alumni Association recieved sad news that Steven Riley Crawford passed away on May 18, 2014. I never formally met Steven, but we walked the same hallways at Ames High School only missing each other by months, Steven was very kind in his coorespondence with the AHSAA and with me. The AHSAA does not normally post obituaries, because we have 28,000 Alumni, but since Steven had previously been so kind to keep in contact with us, and I had posted the letter to the editor above, clear back in 2006, I included Steven's obituary below as he made an impact on me, as I'm sure he did with others. -- Ed Hendrickson 1974 AHS and AHSAA webmaster.
