The third in the epic Dire Wars series, this is the story of the destiny of mighty Mohlkar. The Thieves Guild is
actually assisting citizens to evacuate the huge city, despite the ruler's decrees to the contrary. Two invading
armies approach the city, by land and by sea, armies of mind-controlled non-humans, and the normally stalwart
Mohlkarians are helpless against them. The Queen of Thieves and her man, Talon, along with a contingent of rebel
Mohlkarian marines and sailors, launch a maritime expedition to the location of the entity controlling those forces of
darkness, and a pitched battle ensues. Whatever the outcome, the fate of the city, and all the peoples of the land,
will be altered forever.
