Many of you might not know me as I only went to AHS for 2 years. I was
however at the 20 year reunion. Like all of us, many things have stayed the same, but
we have experienced change as well. I am still in the business of dealing drugs
(Pharmaceutical sales), but after 20 years with the same company, I went to work for a small
biotech company-MGI Pharma based in Minneapolis last July and I love it. I am
marketing a new long acting drug that prevents the nausea and vomiting following
chemotherapy.
On the home front, my wife Heather along with several other
members of our church started a Classical Christian School for 6th through 12th grades last
year. Our daughter, Mary Kathryn completed 6th grade this year at the school and our
son, Justin has decided to leave the private Christian school he was at and attend our
Classical Christian School next year and graduate a year early-he is 16. Since the 20
year reunion, God has really touched our family and we have developed not only a closer walk
with Christ, but a Worldview that is Biblical not secular. This change has brought
peace to our lives regardless of the circumstances, and I continue to have my share of
physical struggles.
Like Tom Wilson, I have underwent a total hip replacement
since our last reunion. In addition, a chronic kidney disease that was diagnosed in
1986 has finally lead to me getting placed on a kidney transplant list earlier this
year. (I am looking for a donor-type O or B blood).
